Membership packets have been mailed, so all that’s left to do is sign up and curl! If you need an extra copy, you can download it here.
As stated in our President’s letter, there have been many changes and improvements made to our club in the off-season. We have ordered new stones from Kays of Scotland through a program offered by the United States Curling Association. To go along with the new rocks, our ice shed is being cleaned and painted with new colors. Finally, with webstreaming games becoming very popular, the club will be installing new cameras, monitors, and electronics so that games can broadcasted from sheets 3 and 4 during leagues and bonspiels.
The current startup plan for this season has the compressors being started on or about Friday, September 13th, with other icemaking activities flowing from that date. As always, the ice committee can use lots of volunteer help in getting our playing surface ready. If you would like to volunteer to assist with our most important annual project, please contact Jim Ridenour.
A very busy season is ahead and we are all excited. Good curling!
