Congratulations to SCC’s Team Damon in their 5 to 3 win over Schenectady / Plainfield’s Team Warr in the A Event, The Wurth, of the Schenectady Open Bonspiel. Brian Damon led his team of Brandon Alois, Dan Muller, and Nathan Alois to victory over Dion Warr’s rink of Andrea Warr, Dean Roth (Plainfield), and Amy Howansky.
This year’s S.O.B. “That 70’s Spiel” which was held January 31st – February 3rd, boasted 24 teams with players from 16 clubs from the US and Canada. This year there were 5 events: The Wurth, The Manchester, The Icemaker, The Staccone and new this year, The Last Call.
