Red & Blue Bonspiel

Description: In House Bonspiel for Ladies. Kick off the season with this great ladies event! This six end pointspiel is a fun way to get re-acclimated to the ice and catch up with everyone coming back from the off season.

The Carosella

Description: Invitational Bonspiel for Ladies. This four event bonspiel is know for the food as much as the curling! This season’s theme is “Celebrity Murder Mystery”.

The C.R.U.E.

Description: In House Bonspiel for Ladies – Junior Skips. The C.R.U.E is SCC’s annual women’s bonspiel for junior level skips. This event was in a point spiel format. There are traditionally two games played with the winner decided by total points (points won, ends won, games won etc.) after completion of the second game. The letters of the event stand for the first names of sponsors Claire Brunkhorst, Ruth Kerr, the late Undine Feidler, and Evie Holmblad. They decided to sponsor this event after they played together and won the Empire Bonspiel.

The Colton

Description: In House Bonspiel for Ladies – Senior Skips. The Colton is SCC’s annual women’s club championship for experienced skips. This 2 day event is not only known for some great curling but also for some wonderful fun with the Saturday night dinner being a highlight of the event. This event is held in honor of Charlotte Colton, Ruth Kerr, Dorothy Szymaszek and in memory of Ursula Hilborn. These great ladies sponsor the four events: The Colton, The Kerr, The Szymaszek and the Hilborn.

Womens Singles

Description: In House Bonspiel for Ladies. In this event you are your own team. Individual curlers play each other in a series of matches without sweepers. Show it all off, meet the challenge and be all that you can be with no sweepers to blame.
