Little Rocks (Sun 1:30pm)

Little Rocks is our curling program for the youngest of curlers, aged 6-11. It's held Sunday's from 1:30pm to 3:00pm.

Multiple instructors usually start the session with a practice/instruction, and then pick teams for practice games. Older kids (10/11 years old) usually go on their own sheet and play their own game.

Some members use full-size, half-weight stones, while others use full weight stones. It really depends on what the children are comfortable with. Younger members are required to wear helmets for safety reasons.

Occasionally, we'll schedule competitions (bonspiels) against other clubs. There are a few opportunities to travel for an event, (Albany Curling Club, Ardsley Curling Club, etc.) for those who are interested. This is not set in stone, as these trips are based on participation and interest.

The cost of the program is $50 (season).

Youth curling coordinator: Jeff Brewster.

Juniors (Sunday 3pm)

Anyone between 12 and 21 years of age is welcome to participate in our Junior Curling program. Slightly younger curlers are welcome to participate with the approval of the Junior program's coaching staff, with the decision based on the curler's maturity, and his/her ability to use the 42 pound stones.

Our Juniors range in skills from brand new curlers to curlers who have competed in the Junior National Championships. Since there is so much to master in this sport, our coaching staff and more experienced Junior curlers work to improve everyone's skills.
