The GNCC's Five-and-Under Mixed Championship bonspiel, the Kayser, is Coming to SCC!

Schenectady Curling Club is thrilled to host this year’s Kayser Memorial Bonspiel as a 5U National Qualifier, we are gearing up for a fantastic weekend of curling and hope to welcome 50 teams.

Key Event Details:
  - Dates: Thursday, Feb 11 – Sunday, Feb 14, 2027 (Super Bowl AND Valentine’s Day weekend—double the reason to celebrate with us!)
  - Entry Fee: $480 per team (Includes a 3-game guarantee, lunches, and dinners)
  - Capacity: 50 teams
  - If you have a 5th person, contact event chair for additonal details [$95 additional to entrry fee]

Registration Details:
All initial registrations will automatically go to a waitlist for committee review.  All registration teams must comply with the 5U mixed curling requirements (2 Female & 2 Male) outlined by the Kayser Format where the delivery rotation alternates between genders, meaning that the skip and vice-skip must be of opposite genders.

While we anticipate having room for everyone, we may prioritize spots to ensure broad GNCC Club representation. Club representation spots will be held for the first four weeks, through December 6. If we receive more than 50 team entries during this four-week window, the committee will review and prioritize the entries accordingly.

On December 7, the waitlist will be removed and remaining spots will open on a first-come, first-served basis.
