2020-2021 Season Canceled

2020-2021 Season Canceled

Over the past months the Board of Managers has been discussing reopening plans and
procedures in a COVID- 19 world. The Board has heard from a number of members expressing
their opinions on opening or closing the Club. After these lengthy discussions which most
recently included the increasing positive cases of COVID-19 in Niskayuna and the Capital
Region, and the likelihood that we would be restricted further or closed due to the Cluster Action
Initiative, the Board unanimously decided to keep SCC closed for the 2020-21 season.

We are hopeful that we will be able to open again in the fall for the 2021-2022 season.

The traditional Scottish Gaelic (and curlers) toast Slàinte mhath, pronounced as "Slanj-a-va"  [ˈs̪l̪ˠaːɲtʲʰə  va], translates as "Good Health".

Slàinte mhath! to you, your families and friends and looking forward to the promise of good curling next season.
