The Schenectady Curling Club will be hosting the 19th annual 10 & Under Bonspiel on December 8 - 10, 2023, and you're cordially invited to join us. This is a great opportunity to get your teams involved in early season competition.
Eligibility/Entry
- Curlers with ten or fewer years of curling experience (Great opportunity for those prepping for or aged out of 5 & Under Competitions)
- Returning skips have until 9/10/23 to guarantee a spot
- Applications will be open until 11/17/2023 or until the field is full
- If the field fills up, additional entries will be placed on the wait list
Teams
- OPEN format
- Maximum 24 rinks
Play
- Four game guarantee (your 4th game could be shortened game – Horse Races)
- If there is a full field, anticipate a 9am start on Friday morning
- Four event finals to be contested at 10:30am on Sunday morning
- Horse Races begin at 9pm Saturday night
Meals
- All meals included with entry fee:
- Friday Lunch – Ruggiero’s Pizza and Wings
- Friday Dinner – Ruggiero’s Chicken Parmesan, Ziti, Salad, Rolls
- Friday Dessert – Cookie Tray
- Saturday Breakfast – Continental
- Saturday Lunch - Sandwiches, Memphis King (Baked Beans and Mac ‘n Cheese)
- Saturday Cocktail Hour – Jumbo Shrimp, Stuffed Mushrooms, Baked Onion Dip
- Saturday Dinner – Steak Tenderloin, Baked Potato, Vegetable, Salad
- Saturday Dessert – Make your own Sundae Bar
- Sunday Breakfast – Full Breakfast, eggs, bacon, homefries, continental items
- Sunday Lunch – Leftovers!!!

Entertainment
- Make/Miss (included with your entry) – One team will win your entry fee back! ($400)
- Band (Vagabond) -playing during app/dinner hours 4-7pm Saturday night
- Horse Races – betting window opens at 7pm, Play begins at 9pm
- Bar will be open all weekend…
