Congratulations to SCC's Team Lancaster for winning the 3rd Annual Women's 10 and Under Bonspiel that was held at the Albany Curling Club December 13th through 15th. Paula Lancaster led her rink of Linda Austin, Becky Trousil and Peggy O'Connor to victory over Green Mountain's Team Orr in the A Event finals on Sunday
This team has a great history with this event. This is the second year in a row with an A Event win for Lancaster and Trousil (both on last year's Team Navratil). Also, Linda Austin skipped the team (Laura Knussman, Amy Machold, Barb Kimmey) that won the very first 10 and Under at Albany and sponsor the pin for the event. Great way for Paula to age out of the "and Unders"!
SCC’s Christina Hall led her rink of Yuko Kashiwado, Laura Dolins and Mary Sue Reed to the B event semi’s but after a great run fell just short. They did have a lot of fun though!
