In House Bonspiel for Ladies – Junior Skips. The C.R.U.E is SCC’s annual women's bonspiel for junior level skips, who are paired with experienced vice skips. This event has a point spiel format. There are traditionally two games played with the winner decided by total points (points won, ends won, games won etc.) after completion of the second game.

The letters of the event stand for the first names of sponsors Claire Brunkhorst, Ruth Kerr, the late Undine Feidler, and The late Evelyn Holmblad. They decided to sponsor this event after they played together and won the Empire Bonspiel.

In House Bonspiel for men. Kick off the season with this great event! This six end pointspiel is a fun way to get re-acclimated to the ice and catch up with everyone coming back from the off season. A nominal rink fee may be assessed to cover the cost of included meals and snacks.

45th Annual Achilles Bonspiel is Thursday, November 20th to Saturday, November 22nd, 2025.

Join us for the 4rth annual Achilles Bonspiel, a men's event with draws starting on Thursday evening. The bonspiel offers a 3-game guarantee, with the event finals held early Saturday evening, which leaves ample time for celebration, recovery, and travel home on Sunday.  Your entry fee covers the Opening Party and dinner starting at 6 PM on Thursday, lunch & dinner on Friday and Saturday, brunch on Saturday morning, prizes and awards; with live music planned for Friday evening.

Bring a significant other (even an extra curler) at only $100 per person (includes all meals). Email us after registering for extra people.

All entries are subject to approval by the event chair. Additional SCC member registrations will be wait-listed to avoid over-subscription.
