2012-2013 Membership Categories of the Schenectady Curling Club

Regular

• Ages 25 and up
• Full curling privileges (all leagues and bonspiels)
• Voting rights
• Dues include both GNCC and USCA/USWCA membership
• Cost is $225 Base fee plus a per league fee (prices vary according to pricing tier)
  up to a maximum of
  • $225 total for 1st Year Regular members (joined any time in 2012).
  • $335 total for 2nd Year Regular members (joined any time in 2011).
  • $465 total for 3rd Year or more Regular members (joined any time prior to
    2011)

Young Adult

• Ages 18 to 25 on October 1st
  • Board approved exceptions may be made to allow members younger than
    18 into this category
• Full curling privileges (all leagues and bonspiels)
• Voting rights (no voting for any exceptions under 18 years of age)
• Dues include both GNCC and USCA/USWCA membership
• Cost is $225 Base fee, which includes all leagues

Contributing/Daytime

• Ages 18 and up
• May only curl in daytime leagues (3rd pricing tier) and no bonspiels
• No voting rights
• Dues do not include GNCC or USCA/USWCA membership
  • GNCC, USCA and/or USWCA dues may be purchased for extra

• Cost is $85 Base fee plus each 3rd pricing tier (daytime) league up to a
  maximum of $235

Junior

• Ages 13 to 21
  • Junior coaches may allow younger members according to development
• Limited to Junior league/practice, Junior bonspiels and the Erdman and Gabel
  leagues on Sunday evenings.
• No voting rights
• Dues include both GNCC and USCA membership
• Cost is $50 (plus applicable league fees if participating in Erdman & Gabel
  leagues)

College

• Ages 18 and up
• Must be full time undergraduate or part/full time graduate student at college
• Limited to College league/practice and Junior bonspiels
• Limited voting rights
• Dues include both GNCC and USCA membership
• Cost is $55

Little Rock

• Ages 6 to 12
  • Little Rock coaches may allow younger members according to
    development
• Limited to Little Rock league/practice and Little Rock bonspiels
• No voting rights
• Dues do not include GNCC or USCA membership
• Cost is $30

Honorary

• The Board may elect to grant any member a life-time honorary membership to
  the club
• Full curling privileges (all leagues and bonspiels)
• Voting rights
• Includes both GNCC and USCA/USWCA membership
• No cost

Social

• Ages 18 and up
• No curling privileges (leagues or bonspiels) but use of other club facilities
• No voting rights
• Dues do not include GNCC or USCA membership
• Cost is $30

Non-Resident

• Ages 18 and up
• Must live at least 100 miles from the club
• Limited to bonspiels only, no leagues
• No voting rights
• Dues do not include GNCC or USCA membership
• Cost is $60
