SCC Members hit the golf course rather than the ice this summer at our annual Schenectady Curling Club Golf Outing which was held Sunday August 18th 2013 at Orchard Creek Golf Club in Altamont. This yearly event was followed by an enjoyable BBQ at Tom and Paula Lancaster’s house. We had 18 golfers and another 8 who joined us for the BBQ afterwards. And of course there were prizes:

Low Nine Holes: Women- Martha Naber with 38, Men- Tom Lancaster with 39
Longest Drive: Women- Denise Cashmere, Men- Skip Katz
Closest to the Pin: Women- Cathy Faulkner, Men- Tom Lancaster
High Nine Holes: Kate Moffitt (and it would follow that she also had the most lost balls)

Great food, Great Company and Great Golf! Thank you to Denise Cashmere and Michele Moffitt for organizing this event, Scott Brennan for his help at the golf course and The Lancaster’s for hosting the BBQ after.
